| The mission of Healing Streams Support Group for Women (HSSGW) is to provide a safe and emotionally supportive network for all women ages 20 and older; regardless of race, religion or creed. Healing Streams Support Group for Women aims to provide or lead women to resources that can help them achieve a balance life. It was founded by
Dr. Dorette Lewis-Senior in 2002.
The philosophy of Healing Streams is rooted in the fundamentals of Naturopathic Medicine; which sees the individual as a whole person not just individual system, but being affected by emotional, environmental and physical factors.

Another philosophy of HSSGW is “doctor as teacher”. Dr. Lewis-Senior desires to teach people how to restore and maintain health by modification of lifestyles, harmony with God, self, others and nature.
Healing Streams Support Group for Women supports the philosophy of disease prevention through education, early detection and risk factor reduction.
